Electrical Engineer - Orlando, FL

Position Summary
Responsible for complex electrical design applied to the automotive aftermarket. Design electrical circuits using power electronics and/or microcontroller (programming and hardware. Prepare specifications for purchase of materials and equipment. Perform sporadic support to Manufacturing and Quality on technically challenging aspects. Perform patent interpretation and resolution procedures. Investigate customer or public complaints, determine nature and extent of problems and recommend measures. Use and update automotive quality standards (APQP, PPAP, etc.). Responsible for PCB and Hybrid design for precise operation at high temperature. Must have experience with automotive sensors. Must possess superior engineering skills as well as exceptional problems solving competences. Must have advanced knowledge of electrical engineering and design and be familiar with applicable codes, standards and acceptable industry practices. Must have experience as a project lead on complex, multi-discipline engineering designs in the automotive industry. Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited engineering school. 10+ years of formal experience in the Automotive industry or institutional electrical engineering design.
